Environment:
What's Up in #GENeva this week?

8 October - 14 October 2018

The IPCC Special report on the impacts of global warming of 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels is out!

This week various events will present and discuss the IPCC Special Report on the impacts of global warming of 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels #SR15, released in Korea on Monday 8 October 2018. Limiting global warming to 1.5ºC will require rapid, far-reaching and unprecedented changes in all aspects of society but bring clear benefits to people, ecosystems and global goals. Every bit of extra warming matters according to this new report. Don't miss the opportunity to engage in the discussion.

“With more than 6,000 scientific references cited and the dedicated contribution of thousands of expert and government reviewers worldwide, this important report testifies to the breadth and policy relevance of the IPCC,” Hoesung Lee, IPCC Chair, Incheon
