Climate Justice / Gender Justice

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Geneva Environment Network Secretariat and Women at the Table  cordially invite you to attend a breakfast discussing feminist action for climate justice, to be held at the Restaurant des délégués, Palais des Nations, from 8:30 to 10:00, Thursday, 5 March. Women climate experts and activists invited for this event, organized ahead of the "Generation Equality Forum”, convened by UN Women and co-hosted by the governments of Mexico and France, in May and July 2020, will reflect on: the critical role of women in response to leading and driving solutions for climate change; the lessons learnt across the feminist movement that can be applied to the climate movement; and the gender equality and gender justice in the Climate agenda. #IWD2020
