Description

World Vision is a Christian relief, development and advocacy organisation dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice.

Our values demand that we work among the world’s most vulnerable people and serve them regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or gender. World Vision's Geneva office is important for many of the organisation's medium- and long-term goals, engaging with the international community on such issues as human rights, health and education, and development effectiveness.  Our partnerships and advocacy initiatives are based on 60 years’ experience with real-world humanitarian interventions and development work.

Our values also call us to be good stewards of the earth, and to keep this world safe for all future generations.

Our experience has shown that the effects of damaged environments and climate change are heavily felt by poor communities all over the world with heightened vulnerability, impacting food and water security, health and livelihoods. World Vision is a strong advocate for sustainable, locally-appropriate and environmentally-conscious development that addresses this challenge.
